The Only Hope 1x1

Anya growled in anger and beat her fist on the floor. "Damn it!" She screamed half in anger and half in pain as something on the floor cut her hand open.

Dante ran over to the closet and opened it. "What happened?" He asked her.

Anya looked up at him holding her hand that was dripping blood. "I cut my hand open." She said embarrassed.

Dante took a knee next to her. "How did you do that?"

Anya looked down at where she'd slammed her fist to see that a board on the floor had split and was quite sharp.

Dante looked at the board. "How on Earth did you do that?"

Anya sighed. "I was putting my blood into the punch again." She said refering that she'd done it before and it was normal.

Dante smiled lightly. "Yeah. Here, I'll go get a bandage." He said, walking towards the cabinet where he kept medical supplies.

She looked at her hand in regret. At least her anger wasn't towards him anymore.

Dante came back with a bandage. "You okay?" He asked her.

Anya nodded. "Yeah I will be," she said looked up at him. "I'm sorry, about everything. Your scared I'll leave you again when I'm infact scared that I'll loose you again. When I first got to that place I was probably the most scared I've ever been in my life." She explained.

Dante frowned. "I still don't know what you mean, but we'll figure that out tomorrow." He said, wrapping up her hand. "We should sleep now."

Anya nodded and got up she walked over t the bed and took off her shoes before crawling ito bed.

Dante got down on the ground. "See you tomorrow." He said.

"Good night," Anya said before closing her eyes and falling asleep.

Dante fell asleep a few minutes later.

Anya woke up early the next morning and was in the bathroom looking in the mirror at herself in amazement.

Dante was still asleep on the floor, where he had been last night.

Anya looked at the reflection like it was a lie. "I look different from before and yet I was saying how Dante grew up."

Dante woke up. He stood up slowly, looking around. He was so tired that he had almost forgotten why he was sleeping on the ground.

Anya shook her head and came out of the bathroom looking down at him. "Sleep well?" She mused.

Dante blinked, confused for a second. He then smiled. "Yeah, I guess. How about you?"

Anya nodded sitting on the bed. "Good, I haven`t slept in awhile." She said thoughtfully. "I`m surprised by how I look now. I no longer can pass as kid anymore." She said with a smirk in amusement.

Dante nodded. "Yeah, you look older then when I last saw you. So I guess you weren't dead." He said, frowning.

"It`s hard to explain, but I`m pretty certain I was dead...Well something like it. All I know for certain is I went to sleep that day and woke up in a pond of water in the middle of the night. A couple of people were surrounding it and helped me get out. Then a man told me I had to begin the training they had for me immediately. He told me if I completed the training within three years I could come back here. The training normally took five years." She explained and looked at him. "I guess I was sort of in the spirit realm."
