Friedrich smiled and looked back up at the sky.

"It seems like other people`s will come true when it comes to singing though, not me." Claire said.

Friedrich shrugged. "Zhere's shtill a chance."

"I guess," Claire said still thinking.

"I'm sorry if I brought up a bad subject." Friedrich replied, frowning.

"It`s not, just a complicated situation." Claire said and looked over at him.

Friedrich looked over at her. "I see."

"Do you think that I`ll make it?" Claire asked absent minded, her voice quiet.

Friedrich nodded. "Ja. I do."

Little did he know the question had a double meaning. She snapped out of her thoughts and nodded before sitting up. "We probably should start getting back now."

Friedrich nodded. "Ja, you're right." He said, standing up. "Should I call a cab?"

Claire nodded while standing up. "Yeah, that would be a good idea."

Friedrich dialed the number again. After about a minute of talking he hung up and closed the phone. "It should be at zhe front of zhe park in a few minutes."

Claire nodded. "So in Germany there`s snow, yes?"

"Ja, qvite a bit." Friedrich said, smiling.

"What`s snow like?" Claire asked curiously never having seen it for herself.

"Like ice but softer. Its very cold and melts in your hand. Its nice in small doses, but a lot of it is a pain." Friedrich said, shrugging. "I'm not really sure how to describe it."

"Hmm, I really want to see it one day. Maybe it will snow here this winter." Claire said looking at the sky.

Friedrich smiled. "I hope it does." He said. He was then reminded of the fact that he was supposed to go back home for the winter and frowned slightly.

"Well it shouldn`t be long now huh. Fall break with come in a week or two then after that winter breaks right around the corner." Claire said with a sigh.

Friedrich nodded. "I don't zhink I'm going back during Vinter."

Claire looked at him. "Why?" She asked gently.

"If it does snow, I vant to see you experience it for zhe first time. Plus, going home is expensive." Friedrich said, chuckling.

Claire laughed and smiled. "Your right about that. At least my home is in the country." She joked.
