Null Space

Marco blinked. "I was? I don't know what Concord is. I wonder what my job was."

"Hmm, I wonder too. If you have your own ship I would assume petty high up." Kit commented.

Marco shrugged. "Is the ship a Concord ship?"

Kit though for a minute. "Now that you mention it it could be...why didn`t your drew mention this?"

Marco shrugged. "I couldn't tell you. I don't know them. I'm a shell of whoever I used to be. You're one of the 2 people I know the names of."

"Who`s the other one?" Kit asked curiously.

"The man that ate with us, Leon." Marco said, shrugging.

Kit nodded. "The guy who I was talking too in there was Ross, or Black Rabbit as some call him. Then the women that helped us corner you is the second in charge of this ship. She`s the caption`s adoptive sister Luna, or White as some call her."

Marco nodded. "I see. Are you sure you should be talking to me? I don't want you getting in trouble."

"It`s fine, I`m te engineer so I can just claim I`m questioning you about your ship or the damage you did to my room of pipe lines." Kit said and shrugged.

Marco sighed. "I'm sorry about that." He said, burying his face in his hands.

"It's no problem, there was just a little leak of mist from a pipe. No damage came of it though." Kit explained.

Marco nodded. "I'm glad to hear I didn't cause too much damage. I really am sorry, though."

"No mam. I thought that your captin would be talking to me? But it seems I've been unforthcoming on my end. Well heres what I need." Xan said as he counted them on his fingers. "30 mm bullets and any A,P rounds you can spair, a section of hull plating that can patch the left forearm, and a replacment battery. Mine is about cooked." he said as he reached in and typed a quick comand to eject the Dogs battery pack witch was toped with white flakes. He grabed the handles and put the battery on the deck beside the ammo clips and removed the pack from the gasket that held it.

Kit nodded. "You couldn't have done a lot of damage in a hurry like that anyway."

"I told you before that the captian doesn't deal with people like you. That's my job." Luna said and looked at a soldier. "Get the needed equipment and find out the total cost for the equipment all together." She commanded and looked back at Xan. "All of our equipment, expecially the batteries we supply to unknown poilets."

Marco sighed with relief. "I'm glad to hear it.. I don't suppose I'll be out of here for a while."

Ross continued to watch from where he was.

"well shoot. I gusse I should pay you but all I Have Is a few high worth Items that i managed to salvage from the Escort fleets remains. You can find some Intact or fixer uper mecha there as well. And don't say I robed them from graves. I'm not that despret. I was asked to take them if the owners didn't make it. None of them did." Xan said with a shudder. He grabed a box from the cocpit and held it out to Luna. "Its all in here." he said.

Luna looked at him and looked pissed off at haring this. "Lee stop now!" She yelled and the guy she`d sent to get the supplies stopped. "What do you think this ship is? We rarely sell equipment for profit. If we do it`s our own equipment. You can`t just come on a ship and try to sell things when we know almost nothing about you." Her voice sounding increasingly angry. "You are a kid who thinks he can handle space travel!"

Kit shook her head. "Sorry, we`ll have to get some of our doctors and techs to help reprogram your brain so you are disconnected an have almost complete control of your head again."

Marco nodded. "Thank you. I appreciate the help. There's a possibility that the parts might be disabling my memories. I am willing to cooperate in any way possible."

"I have`t thought of it that way." Kit said surprised by this different perceptive. "That might actually be the reason you can`t remember. It certainly makes sense."

Marco shrugged. "It's worth an attempt. But, if not, I think I am complacent as I am. Perhaps its better I not remember."

Kit nodded. "Sometimes it`s better not knowing, it`s like getting a fresh start."

Marco nodded. "Yeah.. This fresh start hasn't been very good, though."

Kit shrugged. "It will happen eventually. It`s just been rough so far."

Marco nodded. "Yeah. And its all my fault."
